Fee Group
Administration > Payer > Fee Group
HST Practice Management provides the ability to create fee groups similar to those Medicare once used, for the purpose of creating contracts based upon those reimbursement groupings.
Centers contracted with Medicare Advantage Plans that still utilize the Medicare groupings may want to create Medicare Groupings that can then be loaded for those carriers rather than creating Fee Groups for each carrier.
Add Fee Group
- Select
New
- Enter a Fee Group Category (generally the name of the Payer for which the Fee Groups are being created).
- To map to Medicare Grouping and rates, check the Use Medicare Grouping check box.
- To use Medicare Groups but edit the Fee Group Code, Description, and Price to be specific to this payer, select the
function.
- To create new Fee Groups specific to Payer with no mapping to Medicare, simply type the Fee Group, Description, and Price on each line until all Fee Groups have been entered.
- Select
Save.
